I was wrong
Upon requesting a sample of.this.book, I at first rejected it because of.the simplicity of the language. Yet somehow God was.able to.place this book in front of.me again the next day. There have been few books that have blessed me as much as this one. As topical today as when it was written by a man of simple faith -- he believed every word of God
A booster-shot for your faith!
Whenever I need a booster shot of faith, or a challenge to believe God for even greater things, or just a unabashed reminder of the power of the Scriptures, I pick up a book by Smith Wigglesworth. By the time I got done reading Smith Wigglesworth On Prayer, Power, And Miracles compiled by Roberts Liardon I was totally fired up! This book is a collection of sermons delivered by Wigglesworth and articles he authored for various Pentecostal publications. Every one of the chapters is simply saturated in Scripture and the anointing of the Holy Spirit! Each of the articles made we want to dig into the Bible more, believe God for more, and crave the empowerment of the Spirit more! If you are tired of humdrum church-as-usual, or if you are ready for your faith to be stretched like it’s never been stretched before, pick up a copy of this book and strap yourself in. I promise that you will not think about the things of God the same after these messages have worked their way into your heart.
This man is a true deciple of Jesus Christ with tremendous faith.
I like the book divided into 3 sections that compliment each other. There are miraculous events in this book and so much every person can learn from his teachings. I love feeling God so close at hand when reading in this book. A must read for every true believer!

Wonderful book! Have it on my kindle iPhone app for just regular devotional or inspirational reading throughout the day or night. It’s a collection of sermons and they’re from a long time ago, so can read awkwardly at places and also some places repetitive, but nothing that would detract from it being a great read and invaluable book of encouragement and faith building for the Christian brother or sister.
Still a Timely Message
I recommend reading this book to everyone wanting their faith capacity enlarged. A great book that exhorts the believer to trust the Lord for greater things; the Lord's ability to keep you; to abide with you as you abide in Him. This book may have been written almost 100 years ago, but the message is just as relevant today and , I believe, much needed to hear so that the body of Christ may truly be the overcomers the Lord intends us to be in the world.

I have enjoyed reading this book about Smith's life and how God used him mightily in healing the incurables and those who had given up hope. This book has really opened up my eyes to understanding that it's about our belief in an amazing God who can do exceeding abundantly and more than we can ask or think. I highly recommend this book!

Excellent faith inspiring reading that is sure to challenge ones desire to grow spiritually and believe God's written word. There seem to be only a few who have moved into this type of relationship in the past 40yrs. mostly due to lack of a witness which this book brings out to anyone sincerely looking to get closer to the Lord.
