If you would have invested that amount of money and never touched it, bitcoin would maybe never reach the 20.000$ mark. Maybe etherium would have been the big player or bitcoin could have been forbidden by the government, because the growth was ťoo big. There is so much margin for change, that I wouldn't believe the market could develop in identical ways

I just did the math. Had you bough 5000$ worth of bitcoin in july 2010 when it was 0.008$ per btc, it would be woth 12.5 billion when btc peaked at 20 grand. After taxes, that's still crazy-ass, saudi money. Were there even enough usd reserves to meet that kind of cashout?
